It’s part inspiration, part creativity, part community and a whole lot of fun – for anyone looking for more creative inspiration!

5 weeks of art lessons and prompts where we will explore different artistic mediums together and push our creative boundaries.

I’ll be encouraging you to share your creations with a community of like-minded souls so we can really question and explore each other’s work and gain an understanding of where our own inspiration leads us. Constructive feedback can be truly valuable in helping us grow. This is an optional part of the programme intended to help you grow as a creative (we’ll have some guidance in place here to ensure everyone remains comfortable in an atmosphere of shared learning and growth).

What it isn't?

I'm not going to teach you to make art like me. I'm going to teach you to create like YOU. We'll find your unique style together by trying different things - stretching beyond our known capabilities.

What you get

Five weeks of  lesson prompts and points for discussion posted in the course blog. Alongside these we’ll have some creative tips and tricks and I’ll share my own techniques in both writing and art.

We’ll also look at the work of other inspiring individuals.

Once we’re all fired and up and creating we’ll move our focus for the week into the Facebook Group where we can share both our creations and the thought processes that took us there.

Dates and places

The course will sit on a password-protected blog. I will send the details out a few days before class begins.
You will need a Facebook account to really get the most value from this course. If you’ve resisted the temptation to join ‘the social network’ so far, then please don’t fear that we’ll suck you into a void of time-wasting poking and trivia quizzes from which you’ll never resurface. Just get yourself an account and a profile with your name on and you’re in. We’re really just using the Facebook closed groups as a coffee shop where we can meet up and chat!

Supply list

What you need – just your open mind, your Muse and your choice of creative materials. This course is designed for writers, artists and photographers – anyone who wants to tap into inspiration and be part of a soul-nurturing group. I would love it if you had a go at everything and pushed a few boundaries, but at the same time this experience is for you to enjoy. It’s soul food – why not try something new and see if it tickles your taste buds; you’ve got nothing to lose.

How much does it cost?

Testimonials

"You have encouraged me to go further with my artwork, to take different approaches, and feel happier with what I do than perhaps I used to. Another really valuable aspect is being inspired by other people's work, and being overwhelmed by the support and encouragement of others. I have appreciated it so much."

Jez Eden

"I've met some interesting folk along the way and started looking at things differently. I really enjoyed it. It was good to be prodded into thinking, rather than being shown how to paint a particular picture. Probably the biggest thing I’ve learnt is how to look; seeing colours in new ways, seeing patterns and detail in a new light. One of my exhibition pieces was a direct result of the eye exercise. Really glad I signed up :)"

Nigel Roberts

"I truly believe your class flipped a switch in my brain that I knew was there but didn't know what it was that I was missing. I believe that my creative thought process and my VISION took leaps and bounds."

Dana Strickland

"Your course kick-started my blogging and artwork like you would not believe. I have more goals now and feel excited about my creative endeavours again!"

Sherri

"Thanks for the safety to play, create, experiment and be seen in this class Lisa. You have given me peeks of myself that I know I will be able to expand on for many years to come."
